Feasibility Study
The Indiana Department of Revenue Motor Carrier Services Division (MCSD) received a grant from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to prepare a Feasibility Study to identify requirements and system design alternatives for a new Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) System that would help promote FMCSA’s mission of improving highway safety.
Watertown Group provided project management services to MCSD to plan and direct the project’s efforts to prepare a series of deliverables that documented the business, operational, and technology requirements for a new CDL System. This Feasibility Study resulted in a blueprint that FMCSA can share with each state’s motor carrier division to guide the transformation of their business operations.
